Alone In Between is a solo journaling game about being trapped between this world and somewhere else. It is about communication, regrets, and unfinished business. You play as a ghost trapped in your former home struggling to convey a final message to the living left behind. 

This game requires a standard deck of 52 playing cards, 1 six-sided die, and a way to record your game, such as pencil and paper.

Alone In Between is a short solo rpg about being a phantom tied to this world by the things you've left unresolved.

The PDF is 5 pages, with a lovely and stark layout and excellent use of negative space.

You play by rolling a d6 and flipping cards to try and manifest small hauntings. These hauntings (hopefully) communicate with the living, and help you to pass along a final message before departing.

Success is not guaranteed, and the overall tone of the game is of frustration and loneliness. Still, it's makes for very potent storytelling, and it's hard not to be moved by it.

Overall, if you like personal, intense, and moody games, I'd strongly recommend this. It's very focused and it has a great atmosphere, and I think it produces an experience similar to a very tightly written short story.
