The War God's Temple

The followers of the War God were vicious, truly zealous in their belief that violence and conquest was the way to appease their deity. Their temples more resembled fortresses than a church, housing barracks, training facilities, weapons stores, and pillaged treasure from their many campaigns. What became of the War God and his followers is lost to time, but their temples, truly amazing works of architecture, remain intact. Some have been reclaimed by mercenary armies or would-be kings seeking to take their throne by force. Those that are unclaimed and unexplored, however, may hold treasure... and countless dangers.

The War God's Temple is a one page dungeon that explores a long forgotten temple dedicated to a god of war and violence. It is system agnostic, offering story hooks and a grid-based map for you to include in any game. Simply add the appropriate monsters or NPCs from your chosen system and watch as the players find themselves gazing upon a terrible altar or facing down demonic hounds left behind.
